Inner thigh workout exercises help to help to give universal benefits symmetrically across the body to say both the right and left knee, right leg, and left leg. As the glutes are such big muscles it's also a good muscle to exercise to lose weight, since the bigger the muscles the more calories will be required to operate it. They can also be one of the best exercises to undertake as your Glutes have universal benefits across your whole body.

 

Why are Strong Glutes are Important

There are three glute muscles to be exact and they all function to hold your body strong, give good stability and core strength, and to allow proper functioning of the back and legs.

The three muscles are the Gluteus Medius, Gluteus Maximus, and the Gluteus Minimus.

Together, these muscles are accountable for hip extension, internal rotation, and abduction of the hip, or to put it in simple terms they allow your legs and back to operate in comfort.

  • The glute medius and minimus work together to support hip abduction and stop hip adduction. They give your body the supportive strength and control that is needed for the operation and movement of your lower limbs. These muscles are most handy when wanting to balance on one leg, where controlling the motion of the pelvis on the femur is of the utmost importance.


  • The Glute Maximus is the primary hip extensor, and also the biggest of the three gluteal muscles. It helps to bind all your strength in your glutes and maintain stability and core strength. Inner thigh exercises can be a great way to tone your Glute Maximus and improve your thigh gap muscle tone. The Glute Maximus for being such a large muscle is a good muscle to exercise for losing weight.


Strong glutes are important for correct pelvic alignment, They are vital in giving propulsion during exercise like running or walking up steps. Strong glutes also help to support the lower back during lifting motions and stop knee injuries during other weight bearing exercises.

Having strong glutes is key to properly execute many common lower extremity exercises like deadlifts, squats, and even walking, and also to maintain and tone your inner thigh muscles.


Strong Glutes are Important here's why

  • They can reduce the pressure on your back and hence help to prevent or reduce back pain: Your glutes are accountable for hip extension. When the feet are fixed on the floor, the motion your glutes assist with is raising the chest up from the floor. Therefore, strong glutes are essential to lower back health, since they assist with my pelvic and trunk motions. When your glutes are strong, you've got a stable pelvis and better support for your lower back, so any load will be more evenly distributed through the lower back and lower extremities. 


  • They can reduce or help to prevent Knee Pain. Your gluteal muscles create pelvic stability. this is important because your lower extremities function in a very closed circuit way or to put it another way misalignment in your glutes can affect other parts of your body. Hence if something goes wrong at the ankle, it can cause imbalances at the knee and further up the leg at the hip. This can be apparent during knees bent exercises. The same applies to instabilities within the hips or glutes which can cause excess forces on the knee and ankle. this will cause knee discomfort or pain. 


  • They can increase Power & Athletic Performance. Strong glutes are important in many walks of life and especially important during athletic exercises like gym work or weight lifting, Like exercising in the gym the glutes are also essential to several athletic pursuits that involve acceleration, jumping, and even lifting. With the size of the muscles in your glutes, it is obvious a lot of the power and strength from these exercises comes from within them, not the legs themself, in fact, the glute maximus is one of the biggest and strongest muscles within the body. So it goes without saying if you let your glutes get weak, you'll end up less powerful and fit than a number of your competitors.
